Animals

Animals and Their Babies

Have you seen any baby animals? which ones?Are they similar to their parents? Animals produce animals of their own kind. These babies grow and develop like their parents. Some animals, like elephants, monkeys and camels, give birth to babies The babies look like their parents when they are born .

Some animals, like frogs, fish, snakes and chickens, lay eggs. Babies come out of these eggs after  some time. Some baby  animals like frogs, fish and butterflies do not look like their parents when they come out of eggs. however, they begin to look like their parents as they grow older.

How do animals look after their babies? Look at these pictures.
when baby animals are to young to find their own food,
their parents feed them. A sparrow feeds its nestlings with  its
beak, Cows and goats feed milk to their babies. Have you  seen an animal feeding its baby

Some baby animals, like kittens, nestlings and human babies, cannot move on their own. their parents take them from one place to another.

animals also protect their babies from any kind of danger.
